Cosmofarma Exhibition
The 14th edition of Cosmofarma Exhibition (May 7/9, 2010) will be held in the new trade fair district in Rome.
On the Roma-Fiumicino route, the exhibition centre of Via Portuense is equipped with the most modern technologies and is characterized by an overall gross surface of more than 900,000 square meters (300,000 sq m only for green areas).
Fiera Roma is now the most modern European exhibition centre that can host prestigious events addressing not only professionals at the national and international level; the new venue in Rome is now one of the most important European trade fair districts .
Trade fair district - The facility can be easily reached from Fiumicino airport and downtown Rome as well. If you decide to arrive by train, you can take the FR1 line from the stations of Roma Ostiense, Tiburtina and Tuscolana and get off at the new stop called “Fiera di Roma”; Fiumicino airport is connected with downtown Rome with a direct train, stop “Fiera di Roma”.
To reach the trade fair district by car, instead, you just have to take the Roma-Fiumicino motorway from the ringroad and exit at the junction “Nuova Fiera di Roma”.
To get to the trade fair district it is possible to use four entrances at the cardinal points of the exhibition centre, where you can find an entrance hall and a ticket booth/reception.
The entrance for Cosmofarma visitors is North gate.
Visitors can make use of 4 car parks, close to entrance gates, that can host 12,000 cars on the whole.
Exhibition halls - At the moment there are 14 halls: all of them are on the same floor, without obstacles or columns, fully connected and air-conditioned. The technical equipment (electric energy, telephone/data lines, water and compressed air) is grounded. All the halls have a rectangular plan (the transversal size is 72.60 m, while the longitudinal one varies from 72.60 m. to 144.60 m.) and are built with clear span beams on facade pillars, with a maximum useful height under beam of 11.35 m., while the minimum height is 8.60 m.
A 6-meter mechanized walkway connects the halls allowing visitors to reach the areas of interest.
In every hall there is a 90-seat lecture room and other rooms to be used as offices, for exhibition secretariats and other services.
Cosmofarma Exhibition will be held in halls 11-12-13 and 14.
Congress centre and meeting rooms – The congress centre in hall 10 is provided with 50 to 1,000-seat rooms. Moreover, every hall is provided with a 90-seat lecture room, while SC (Complementary Services) facilities, connecting the halls, are provided with other lecture rooms for 130, 90 and 45 people: this variety allows to meet the needs of any event.
Catering – Every hall is provided with one or two refreshment stands, depending on their type and size. In the trade fair district there are also two large self-services.
Accommodation – In the adjacent areas there are hotel facilities with an overall capability of more than 4,000 rooms and a series of excellent services for spare time (40 cinemas, shopping malls, sport centres and two golf courses).
